Veterans and Military Families
In June of 2023, the “D-Day Committee” and “International Salute to Liberation” will commemorate the 80th Anniversary of WWII, while saluting America’s war veterans, and our active military men and women and their families. These officially recognized events will feature America's outstanding performing ensembles and JROTC Units in an unforgettable and historic tribute.
We invite Veterans and military families to join us as part of the D-Day Memorial Parade and Commemoration Tour. This program will provide an opportunity to participate in the D-Day events in Normandy, in honor of those who made the sacrifice to preserve liberty and freedom during this pivotal time in world history. These events also pay tribute to all those who have worn the uniform in service to this country and the families who support them.

The D-Day Memorial Parade and Commemoration Tour will include the following incredible events:
-
Ceremony and Wreath Laying at the Normandy American Cemetery (Omaha Beach)
-
Ceremony and Wreath Laying at the Brittany American Cemetery (St. James)
-
D-Day Memorial Parade and Musical Salute to the Veterans (Sainte-Mère-Église)

In addition to participating in these important events, the tour will include visits to significant WWII and other sites throughout the Normandy Region including: Omaha Beach, Utah Beach, Pointe du Hoc, Bayeux, Caen, Pegasus Bridge, and the spectacular le Mont St. Michel. The tour will conclude with a stay in Paris to enjoy the rich culture and history found only in this iconic city.
