Welcome participants from The University of Texas Longhorn Alumni Band! We are excited to be working with you during the next several months as you prepare for your participation in this historic event and once in a lifetime experience.

Rates DO NOT include airfare

 

Your tour includes the following to be provided by Historic Programs D-Day Memorial Parade:

 

  • 6 nights at first class tourist hotels

  • All transfers by motor coach

  • 6 breakfasts and 6 dinners

  • All entrances to venues in Normandy

  • Guided tours

  • Louvre and Eiffel Tower entrance fees

  • Full time local escort

  • All tips and taxes (not including coach driver tips and tips for your tour manager)

  • All arrangements for your musical performance in Normandy

 

Also included in your tour by the UT Longhorn Alumni Band tour organizers:

  • Direct payment program for all participants by check or credit card through Historic Programs, with monthly statements rendered

  • Possible additional concert in Paris pending arrangements with contacts there.

  • Recommendations to reputable travel insurance companies

  • Personal uniform and other souvenir items of the trip

 

UT Longhorn Alumni Band Performance Tour Payment Schedule:

A.  Registration begins September 15, 2017

B.  A first payment of $250 by October 1, 2017.

Payment Schedule 1 - Double Occupancy

Package price - $2047 per person (not including airfare)

$250 per person - due October 1, 2017

$160 per person - due each month for 11 months* (beginning January 15, 2018)

February 15, 2019 - final payment due

Payment Schedule 2 - Single Occupancy

Package price - $2647 per person (not including airfare)

$250 per person - due October 1, 2017

$210 per person - due each month for 11 months* (beginning January 15, 2018)

February 15, 2019 - final payment due

*A twelfth (final) payment of the balance due per person by February 15, 2019. The costs of uniform and shipping of large instruments will be added prior to the final payment.

Payments are scheduled to meet the requirements of Historic Productions; D-Day Memorial Parade. The price of the performance tour does not include airfare.

 

Participants paying late may be subject to a $5.00 late fee charged by Historic Programs Payment Services. Any credit card chargeback request will be assessed a fee of $25 if resolved in favor of Travel Payment Services. All payments must be complete by February 15, 2019.

Airline

Airline prices and routes will not be determined until approximately 11 months prior to departure, per airline policy.

​

Historic Programs will be making arrangements for a group airfare approximately 11 months prior to departure.  Individuals and families may choose to take advantage of the group fare/route, or may make their own arrangements.  If making your own arrangements, it is imperative that you arrive at Charles de Gaulle Airport (Paris) prior to or at the time of the group flight arrival in order to maintain the integrity of the tour schedule.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing and are effective on the date received by the D-Day Memorial Parade Committee, 7255 E. Hampton Ave Ste 127, Mesa AZ 85209-3381. Cancellation charges are figured on the full tour price per person, and will be as follows:

  1. From Signup until December 15, 2017 = $250 per person 

  2. From December 16, 2017- February 3, 2019 = $511.75 double occupancy, $661.75 single occupancy (25% of the tour cost)

  3. February 4, 2019 = $1023.50 double occupancy, $1,323.50 single occupancy (50% of the tour cost)

  4. April 5, 2019 = $1,535.25 double occupancy, $1,985.25 single occupancy (75% of the tour cost)

  5. May 5, 2019 - June 4, 2019 = no refund allowed (100% of the tour cost)
