Instructions for the video audition, letter and applications will be supplied in the Finalist's notification information packet.

  • Letter of commitment, and student video to be submitted.  Any material received after this date will not be considered.

  • Those selected to the band, and any designated alternates, will be notified.

We wish you the best as you pursue this opportunity of a lifetime.  We commend you for your dedication to your musicianship, and for the countless hours you spend practicing and perfecting your craft.

*The letter of commitment will be voided if the student is not selected as a member of All-American D-Day Band

The National Band Association is pleased to offer a limited number of need-based, partial scholarships for students selected to participate in The All-American D-Day Band. In consultation with their parent/guardian, interested students should provide a brief statement on their application regarding their unique financial situation.

The exact amount of the partial scholarship will be determined after all applicants have been considered. Students will be notified of any scholarship funds they have been awarded upon their acceptance into the D-Day Memorial Band. Students and their families are highly encouraged to enlist their local band booster organizations and communities for additional funding as needed.
